Nobody told me pregnancy could feel like this. Th Nobody told me pregnancy could feel like this.

They told me about the growing belly.

The tiny kicks.

The ultrasound pictures.

The excitement of meeting my baby.

But nobody told me about the nights when I would lie awake…

thinking about everything.

Nobody told me I could feel incredibly grateful…

and still feel completely overwhelmed.

Nobody told me I could love this baby more than I could explain…

and still miss the person I was before pregnancy.

Nobody told me my body could feel unfamiliar.

That some days I would look in the mirror and wonder,

“Is this really me?”

Nobody told me that one little comment could make me cry.

That some days I would feel strong…

and other days, I would just want someone to hold me and say,

“You've got this.”

Nobody told me pregnancy isn't always glowing skin and beautiful moments.

Sometimes it's discomfort.

Sometimes it's fear.

Sometimes it's exhaustion.

Sometimes it's sitting quietly with your hand on your belly, wondering if you're doing everything right.

And mama…

you are not failing because pregnancy feels harder than you expected.

You are not ungrateful because you're tired.

You are not a bad mother because you're afraid.

You are human.

You're experiencing a huge physical and emotional transition.

So please stop comparing your pregnancy to someone else's highlight reel.

You don't have to love every moment to love your baby deeply.

You don't have to feel happy every day.

And you don't have to pretend you're okay when you're struggling.

Talk to someone you trust.

Tell your healthcare provider when something is worrying you.

Let people help you.

And on the days when all you can do is breathe, eat, rest, and make it through…

that is enough.

Because there is something nobody told me that I wish every pregnant woman knew:

You don't have to enjoy every moment of becoming a mother to be a wonderful mother. ❤️

And if your emotions ever feel persistently overwhelming, hopeless, or difficult to cope with, please reach out to your healthcare provider. You deserve support too.

Mama, what is one thing about pregnancy nobody warned you would feel this way?
Mama… I know you're thinking about tomorrow. And Mama…

I know you're thinking about tomorrow.

And the day after that.

And the birth.

And the baby.

And everything that comes after.

Sometimes your mind runs so far ahead that you forget…

you're still here.

Today.

Right now.

Maybe you're wondering if you'll be ready.

Maybe you're counting down the weeks.

Maybe you're looking at everything that still needs to be done and thinking,

“How am I going to manage all of this?”

But you don't have to manage it all today.

You only have to live this day.

One appointment at a time.

One meal at a time.

One night of sleep at a time.

One little kick at a time.

One breath at a time.

Mama, you don't need to know exactly how you'll feel on the day you meet your baby.

You don't need to have every detail figured out.

You don't need to solve every possible problem before it happens.

Today, you can simply prepare what you can…

and release what you cannot control.

If today is difficult, let today be difficult.

It doesn't mean tomorrow will be.

If you're tired, rest.

If you're worried, talk to someone.

If you're overwhelmed, ask for help.

If you're having a beautiful day…

enjoy it without worrying about the next one.

Pregnancy can make the future feel very close.

But don't let tomorrow steal all the beauty from today.

Look at your belly.

Feel your baby's movements if you can.

Take a slow breath.

And tell yourself:

“I don't have to do everything today.”

Because you don't.

You just have to take the next step.

Then the next one.

And then the next.

Until one day, you look back and realize…

you made it through every single day you once worried about. ❤️

So, mama…

Don't carry tomorrow tonight.

Today is enough.

What's one thing you're choosing NOT to worry about today?
Mama… You don't have to be strong today. You don Mama…

You don't have to be strong today.

You don't have to smile when you're tired.

You don't have to say, “I'm fine,” when you're not.

You don't have to pretend you're excited every second.

And you don't have to explain why you need a little space.

Maybe today, everything feels like too much.

Your body feels heavy.

Your mind won't stop racing.

The smallest thing made you cry.

And now you're wondering,

“Why can't I just handle this?”

But mama…

Maybe you don't need to handle everything today.

Maybe you just need to rest.

Pregnancy can be beautiful and overwhelming at the same time.

You can be deeply grateful for your baby and still have moments when you feel exhausted, emotional, uncertain, or afraid.

Those feelings don't make you ungrateful.

They make you human.

So today, let yourself slow down.

If someone offers to help, say yes.

If you need to cry, cry.

If you need to sit quietly with your hand on your belly, do that.

If you need to tell someone,

“I'm having a difficult day,”

say it.

You don't have to carry everything silently just because you're carrying a baby.

And remember…

Strength doesn't always look like pushing through.

Sometimes strength looks like admitting,

“I need a break.”

Sometimes it looks like asking for help.

Sometimes it looks like taking one small step instead of ten.

And sometimes…

strength looks like doing absolutely nothing for a little while.

So, mama…

Today, you have permission to be tired.

You have permission to be emotional.

You have permission to not have all the answers.

You don't have to be strong every day to be a strong mother. ❤️

Take the pressure off yourself.

Breathe.

Rest.

Let someone love you too.

And tomorrow, you can try again.

If you're feeling persistently sad, hopeless, extremely anxious, or unable to cope, please tell your healthcare provider. You deserve support, not silence.

Mama, if you could give yourself permission to stop doing ONE thing today, what would it be?
Mama… Can I tell you something? It’s okay to be Mama…

Can I tell you something?

It’s okay to be scared.

You don't have to hide it.

Maybe you're scared of labor.

Maybe you're scared something will go wrong.

Maybe you're scared because you've never done this before.

Or maybe you've done it before…

and you remember exactly how overwhelming it felt.

Sometimes you look at your growing belly and feel pure love.

And then, five minutes later, fear finds you.

“What if I'm not ready?”

“What if I can't handle it?”

“What if something happens to my baby?”

And you feel guilty for even thinking those thoughts.

But listen to me:

Being scared doesn't mean you're a bad mother.

It means you're human.

You're standing at the beginning of one of the biggest changes of your life.

Of course you have questions.

Of course you have moments of uncertainty.

You don't need to force yourself to be fearless.

You just need to remember that fear doesn't have to make your decisions for you.

When something worries you, talk about it.

Ask your healthcare provider the question that's been keeping you awake.

Tell someone you trust when you're overwhelmed.

Learn what you can.

Prepare for what you can.

And when you can't control something…

give yourself permission to breathe.

You don't have to know exactly how everything will happen.

You don't have to have the perfect birth plan.

You don't have to feel brave every single day.

Some days, courage looks like going to your appointment even though you're nervous.

Some days, courage looks like saying,

“I'm scared. I need someone to talk to.”

And some days…

courage is simply taking another breath and continuing.

So, mama…

If you're frightened tonight, place your hand on your belly.

Take a slow breath.

And tell yourself:

“I can be scared and still be strong.”

Because you can.

You don't have to become fearless to become a mother.

You just have to keep taking the next step. ❤️

And if your fear feels overwhelming, persistent, or is interfering with your daily life, please tell your healthcare provider. You deserve support too.

Mama, what part of pregnancy or motherhood scares you the most—but you've been afraid to say out loud?
Mama… Put your phone down for a moment. Unclench Mama…

Put your phone down for a moment.

Unclench your shoulders.

Take your hand off everything you’re trying to fix.

And just breathe.

I know.

There are so many things on your mind.

The appointments.

The baby shopping.

The bills.

The nursery.

The birth.

The questions.

The things you still haven't finished.

And somehow, you're expected to keep smiling through all of it.

But mama…

you don't have to have everything figured out today.

You don't have to be the perfect pregnant woman.

You don't have to wake up every morning feeling positive.

You don't have to enjoy every moment of pregnancy.

Some days, getting through the day is enough.

So take a breath.

Slowly.

In…

And out.

Your baby doesn't need a mother who never gets tired.

Your baby needs you.

The woman who is doing her best.

The woman who sometimes cries in the bathroom.

The woman who worries about the future.

The woman who gets overwhelmed and then tries again tomorrow.

That woman is still doing an amazing job.

So stop for a moment.

Feel your baby's little movements if you can.

Put your hand on your belly.

And remind yourself:

“I am allowed to rest.”

“I am allowed to ask for help.”

“I am allowed to have difficult days.”

“I don't have to do everything at once.”

Mama, the dishes can wait.

The messages can wait.

The perfect nursery can wait.

Even some of the plans can wait.

You matter too.

And if nobody has given you permission to slow down today…

I'm giving it to you.

Take the breath.

Drink some water.

Sit down.

Let someone help you.

And for these next few minutes…

just be Mama. ❤️

You are carrying a lot.

But you don't have to carry it all at once.

Tell me honestly: what is one thing you need to stop worrying about today?
Some days, pregnancy feels beautiful. And some da Some days, pregnancy feels beautiful.

And some days…

you just want to cry.

You don't always know why.

Maybe you're tired.

Maybe your body doesn't feel like your own anymore.

Maybe everyone keeps asking about the baby…

but nobody asks,

“How are YOU doing?”

So you smile.

You say you're fine.

You keep going.

Even when you're worried.

Even when you're overwhelmed.

Even when you're lying awake at night thinking about everything that could possibly go wrong.

And sometimes, you feel guilty for feeling this way.

Because you're supposed to be happy, right?

You're supposed to be grateful.

You're growing a baby.

But here's something I want you to hear today:

You can be grateful and still be overwhelmed.

You can love your baby deeply and still have difficult days.

You can be excited about meeting your little one and still be afraid of what comes next.

Pregnancy doesn't require you to be strong every minute.

You don't have to pretend everything is okay just because you're expecting a baby.

Sometimes you need someone to sit beside you.

Someone to listen without saying,

“Don't worry.”

Someone to let you cry without making you feel guilty for it.

So if nobody has told you today…

I'm proud of you.

For the days you got out of bed when you didn't feel like it.

For every appointment you showed up for.

For every uncomfortable night.

For every anxious thought you pushed through.

For every time you looked at your growing belly and whispered,

“We're going to be okay.”

And if today isn't a good day…

that's okay too.

Take a breath.

Rest when you can.

Reach out when you need support.

You don't have to carry every emotion silently.

You're becoming a mother, but you're still a woman who deserves to be cared for too. ❤️

Turn Around, Baby “Please, baby… turn around.” I Turn Around, Baby

“Please, baby… turn around.”

I whispered those words more times than I can remember.

The first time I heard that you were breech, my heart sank.

I had imagined meeting you head down.

I had imagined labour beginning naturally.

I had imagined so many things.

And suddenly, I was wondering…

What happens now?

Would you turn?

Would there be enough time?

Would I need a C-section?

Was there something I could do?

I remember placing my hands over my belly and talking to you.

“Little one, you've got plenty of room in there.

Just turn around for Mama.”

But beneath the hope was fear.

And I know I'm not the only mother who has felt that way.

If you've just discovered that your baby is breech, take a breath.

A breech position in the later part of pregnancy does not automatically mean something is wrong with your baby.

Many babies change position throughout pregnancy, and some turn head-down on their own as pregnancy progresses.

But when your baby remains breech later in pregnancy, this is a conversation to have with your maternity care team.

They can explain your baby's exact position, assess your individual circumstances, and discuss options that may be appropriate for you.

One option that may be offered is external cephalic version (ECV), a procedure in which a trained healthcare professional attempts to turn the baby from the outside of your abdomen.

And that's something I wish every mother knew:

You don't have to face a breech diagnosis with panic.

You can ask questions.

You can understand your options.

You can get a second professional opinion when appropriate.

You can prepare for different possible birth plans while still holding onto hope.

Take a deep breath.

Talk to your baby if it brings you comfort.

And talk to your healthcare team about what is medically appropriate for you and your baby.

Because this isn't the end of your birth story.

It's simply a chapter you didn't expect.

And maybe, just maybe…

your little one is already listening.

“Turn around, baby. Mama is waiting to meet you.” ❤️

If your baby was ever breech, when did they turn, or what did your doctor recommend? Share your experience below.
The moment I heard, “Baby is still breech,” my hea The moment I heard,
“Baby is still breech,”
my heart sank.

I had been hoping for those three little words:

“Baby is head down.”

Instead, I left the appointment carrying a thousand questions.

What happens now?

Does this mean I can't have the birth I imagined?

Is there anything I can still do?

That evening, I sat on my bed with both hands resting over my belly.

And then my baby kicked.

A tiny reminder that there was still a little life in there…
still growing…
still moving…
still writing a story I couldn't completely control.

So I told my baby:

“We're not giving up yet.”

Not because I knew exactly what would happen.

Not because I could guarantee my baby would turn.

But because I realized that hope and preparation can exist together.

Breech position is common earlier in pregnancy, and many babies turn head-down as pregnancy progresses.

And if baby remains breech later in pregnancy, that doesn't mean you have no choices.

Your maternity team can confirm baby's position and explain what it means for your individual pregnancy.

Depending on your circumstances, they may discuss options such as external cephalic version (ECV) or planning the safest way to deliver if baby remains breech.

That was the moment I stopped blaming myself.

I didn't need to panic.

I didn't need to believe every frightening story I heard.

I needed accurate information, qualified medical guidance, and a plan.

So yes…

We're not giving up yet.

We're hoping.

We're learning.

We're asking questions.

And we're preparing for whatever comes next.

Because sometimes hope isn't knowing exactly how the story will end.

Sometimes hope is simply believing there is still another page to turn. ❤️

If your baby was breech, would you want to know every option available to you—or would you rather wait and see what happens?
I remember the first time I imagined those little I remember the first time I imagined those little feet.

Tiny toes.

Tiny kicks.

A little baby stretching and moving inside me.

But then, during one appointment, the scan showed something I wasn't expecting.

Those little feet were up high.

My baby was sitting bottom-down, with the head higher than I had imagined.

Breech.

I stared at the screen, trying to understand what it meant.

My mind immediately jumped to the worst possibilities.

“Will my baby turn?”

“Will I still be able to have the birth I hoped for?”

“Is something wrong?”

But I learned something important:

Baby's position can change throughout pregnancy.

Breech presentation is common earlier in pregnancy, and many babies naturally move into a head-down position as pregnancy progresses.

So seeing little feet pointing upward doesn't automatically mean your baby's final position is decided.

But as pregnancy gets closer to term, baby's position becomes more important.

That's when your maternity team can confirm baby's presentation and talk you through what it means for your particular pregnancy.

If baby remains breech later in pregnancy, your healthcare provider may discuss options such as an external cephalic version (ECV), when appropriate, or different birth plans depending on your circumstances.

And suddenly, those little feet didn't look so frightening anymore.

They reminded me of something:

My baby was still growing.
Still moving.
Still changing.

I didn't need to know exactly how the story would end that day.

I just needed to keep learning, keep asking questions, and keep preparing.

Because sometimes the position you see on today's scan...

isn't the position you'll see at the end. ❤️

Have you ever seen your baby's little feet up high on an ultrasound? What did your doctor tell you?
When they told me my baby was still breech, I went When they told me my baby was still breech, I went quiet.

I smiled at the doctor.

I nodded.

I asked a few questions.

But inside, my mind was racing.

“What if my baby doesn't turn?”

I had imagined the birth so many times.

And suddenly, I was imagining a completely different ending.

That night, I lay in bed with both hands on my belly.

“Baby,” I whispered, “we still have time… don't we?”

I didn't know what would happen.

And that's the hardest part about pregnancy sometimes.

You can prepare.

You can hope.

You can ask questions.

But you can't control every part of the journey.

If you've just discovered that your baby is breech, take a breath.

A breech position in the earlier or middle part of pregnancy is common, and many babies turn as pregnancy progresses.

It means it's time to get informed.

Your healthcare provider can confirm your baby's position and explain what options may be appropriate for you.

Depending on your circumstances and where you are in pregnancy, this may include discussing external cephalic version (ECV), which is an attempt by a trained healthcare professional to turn the baby from the outside of the abdomen.

It isn't suitable for everyone, and your care team should assess whether it's appropriate for you.

And Mama…

Please don't blame yourself.

Your baby's position isn't a measure of whether you did pregnancy “right.”

You didn't fail.

Your body didn't fail.

You simply have a baby who hasn't settled into the position you hoped for yet.

So breathe.

Ask questions.

Keep your appointments.

Learn your options.

Prepare for more than one possibility.

And keep hope, but let your healthcare team help you turn that hope into an informed plan.

Because sometimes…

there really is still time.

And whether your baby turns or doesn't, you deserve to walk into birth feeling prepared rather than terrified.

That night, I placed my hand over my belly one more time.

“I'm not asking you to hurry, little one.”

“I just want you to be safe.”

And for the first time that day…

I felt hopeful again.

There’s still time. ❤️

If you discovered your baby was breech, what was the FIRST question you asked your doctor?

My Baby Has a Different Plan I thought I knew how My Baby Has a Different Plan

I thought I knew how this story would go.

At every appointment, I imagined hearing the words:

“Baby is head down.”

I pictured the final weeks of pregnancy getting closer and closer to the birth I had imagined.

Then came the scan.

The words were simple.

“Your baby is still breech.”

I went quiet.

I looked at the screen, then at my belly.

My baby was growing beautifully…

but my baby had a different plan.

For a moment, I wondered if my body had failed me.

Had I waited too long?

Should I have done something differently?

Was the birth I had imagined no longer possible?

But then I reminded myself:

My baby's position is not a measure of my worth as a mother.

And breech doesn't automatically mean something is wrong.

Babies can be breech during pregnancy, and many turn head-down as pregnancy progresses. When a baby remains breech later in pregnancy, however, it's important to have an honest conversation with your maternity team.

They may assess the baby's position and your individual circumstances and discuss options, which can include an external cephalic version (ECV) for suitable pregnancies or planning the safest way to deliver if baby remains breech.

Suddenly, I stopped asking,

“Why isn't my baby doing what I expected?”

And started asking,

“What do I need to know now?”

Because sometimes motherhood begins teaching you flexibility before your baby is even born.

You make a plan.

You hope.

You prepare.

And then your baby reminds you that some parts of the journey cannot be controlled.

That doesn't mean you stop hoping.

It means you replace fear with information.

You ask questions.

You understand your options.

And you prepare for the safest possible arrival.

Maybe my baby had a different plan.

But that didn't mean my story was over.

It simply meant I had a new chapter to learn. ❤️

If your baby's position didn't go according to plan, what was the FIRST thought that crossed your mind?
The moment labor would begin. The hospital bag by The moment labor would begin.
The hospital bag by the door.
My baby finally in my arms.

I had imagined how the birth story would go.

Then one appointment changed everything.

“Your baby is still breech.”

I smiled at the doctor, but inside, my heart sank.

Still breech?

I had been counting the weeks. I thought my baby would have turned by now.

That night, I lay in bed with my hand on my belly, wondering if the ending I had imagined was slipping away.

Would I need a different kind of birth?

Was something wrong?

Had I done something wrong?

Then I learned something I wish every pregnant woman knew:

A breech position does not automatically mean your birth story is decided.

Babies can be breech at different points during pregnancy, and many turn head-down as pregnancy progresses.

But when a baby remains breech later in pregnancy, it becomes important to talk with your maternity care team about what the position means for your situation and what options may be available.

Depending on your circumstances, your healthcare provider may discuss options such as monitoring the baby's position, attempting an external cephalic version (ECV), or planning the safest mode of birth if the baby remains breech.

And that changed something inside me.

I stopped thinking:

“This is the end of the story.”

And started thinking:

“This is a different chapter.”

Maybe the ending wouldn't look exactly like the picture I had created in my head.

But I could still prepare.

I could still ask questions.

I could still understand my options.

And most importantly…

I could still meet my baby with love.

Sometimes pregnancy doesn't follow the script we wrote.

But an unexpected chapter doesn't mean it's a bad ending. ❤️

If you found out your baby was breech, what would be your biggest fear?
There was a time when every appointment made my he There was a time when every appointment made my heart race.

I would lie there quietly, waiting to hear those words:

“Baby is head down.”

Until then, I had questions.

What if my baby stayed breech?

What if there wasn't enough time?

What would birth look like?

I tried not to panic, but pregnancy has a way of making one little sentence feel enormous.

Then one day, the news came.

Head down.

I can't explain the relief I felt.

I placed my hand over my belly and smiled.

“Thank you, baby.”

But that moment taught me something I wish every pregnant mother knew:

Your baby's position can change during pregnancy.

A baby being breech earlier in pregnancy does not necessarily mean they will remain breech at birth. As pregnancy progresses, your maternity team can check your baby's position and talk you through what it means for you.

And if your baby is still breech later in pregnancy, don't immediately assume your birth story is over.

Ask questions.

Find out exactly what position your baby is in.

Ask what options may be appropriate for you, including whether external cephalic version (ECV) is something your healthcare team would consider.

Not every mother is a candidate, and decisions should be based on individual medical circumstances.

Most importantly, don't let fear make decisions for you before you've had the conversation with your care team.

Because sometimes the baby turns.

Sometimes they don't.

But you can still have a plan.

You can still prepare.

You can still ask for support.

And you can still walk toward your baby's birth with hope in your heart.

That day, when I heard “head down,” I felt like I could finally breathe again.

But the biggest change wasn't my baby's position.

It was mine.

My heart went from fear…

to hope.

Head down, heart up.

And whatever your baby's position is today, Mama, remember:

You don't have to know the entire journey tonight.

Just take the next informed step. ❤️

Is your baby head down, breech, or have you not been told yet?
My baby… You changed everything. And the strange My baby…

You changed everything.

And the strange thing is, you changed everything before I ever saw your face.

Before you arrived, I thought I knew what my life would look like.

I had plans.

A routine.

Things I wanted to accomplish.

Places I wanted to go.

Then one day, there were two lines on a pregnancy test.

And suddenly…

there was a you in my future.

I started making different choices.

I thought about what I ate.

I paid more attention to my body.

I started counting weeks instead of months.

Appointments became dates I never wanted to miss.

And every little change reminded me that life wasn't just about me anymore.

Then I felt your first movement.

It was so tiny I wasn't even sure it happened.

I waited.

And then…

there it was again.

A little flutter.

A tiny reminder from someone I hadn't met yet.

"Mama, I'm here."

From that moment, everything felt different.

The way I looked at my body changed.

The way I thought about time changed.

Even ordinary things became meaningful.

A quiet evening.

A tiny pair of socks.

An ultrasound photograph.

A hand resting on my belly.

You made me understand that love can begin before a first hello.

But you also taught me something important.

Becoming a mother doesn't mean becoming perfect.

I still have fears.

I still have questions.

I still have days when I don't know exactly what I'm doing.

And that's okay.

Motherhood isn't about having every answer.

It's about learning.

Asking questions.

Getting support.

Taking care of yourself.

And showing up again and again.

You changed my priorities.

You changed my heart.

You changed the way I see the future.

But perhaps the biggest change of all…

was that I stopped imagining the future as my story.

I started imagining it as ours.

One day, you'll grow up and have your own dreams.

You'll have your own adventures.

You may never fully understand how much changed inside me before you were even born.

But I hope you always know this:

You didn't have to do anything to earn my love.

You simply arrived…

and somehow, my heart made room.

My baby,

you changed everything.

And I wouldn't change that for the world. ❤️
